Costing Out: Ranged Touch Attack Bracers

The problem: My toon needs help with ranged touch attacks and he wants to craft an item. He has Craft Wonderous and Craft Arms/Armor and is currently Caster lvl 6. I got the idea for Ranged Touch Attack Bracers from the Bracers of Archery below.

I was thinking of modeling Ranged Touch Attack Bracers on the Bracers of Archery below. I'm concerned that the Greater Bracers are to costly. Do you guys think the "proficiency" aspect of the greater bracers adds to the calculated price?

What if I did Ranged Touch Attack Bracers which have a +2 competence bonus on attack rolls and a +1 competence bonus on damage rolls for Ranged Touch Attacks? How would you guys cost out that item?

Bracers of Archery, Greater: These wristbands look like normal protective wear. The bracers empower the wearer to use any bow (not including crossbows) as if she were proficient in its use. If she already has proficiency with any type of bow, she gains a +2 competence bonus on attack rolls and a +1 competence bonus on damage rolls whenever using that type of bow. Both bracers must be worn for the magic to be effective.

Moderate transmutation; CL 8th; Craft Wondrous Item, Craft Magic Arms and Armor; Price 25,000 gp;Weight 1 lb.

Bracers of Archery, Lesser: These wristbands function as greater bracers of archery, except that they grant a +1 competence bonus on attack rolls and no bonus on damage rolls.

I'd say more costly. Ranged touch attack boni are much better than attack roll boni, since you can get the latter from weapon enhancements and so on.

I don't follow the logic of this. There's a lack of ranged touch attack items, but plenty of "regular" attack roll items so ranged touch attach items should be more costly? I don't understand it as a matter of opinion, and it certainly doesn't seem grounded in any rule or suggested guideline I have read.

Mainly, ranged touch is already so good (eg. ignores armor/shield/natural armor)--it should cost more to make it better than normal ranged attacks.

Aren't there rules for making magic items that duplicate feats? What if you just used something that duplicated, in effect, Deep Impact?

Ranged touch attacks use Dex, because they are ranged, right? So (unless you are doing this or similar already, of course) you can use +4 Gloves of Dexterity for 16,000 gp to improve your ranged touch abity by +2. Also gives a nice bonus to Reflex saves and AC.
