According to D&D Beyond site, the PHB 2024 will be available in early access on my account in 105 minutes...
EDIT: ok, I know, I marked the wrong day in my calendar, it's tomorrow. So 24h and 30 minutes now...
It reminds me how, some 24 years ago, I waited for the mailman with my D&D 3e PHB parcel, after having been hyped for months with Eric Noah's site...
Or how 10 years ago I did the same with 5e PHB...
The hype is lesser now, because it's an electronic edition (the physical book will arrive in two weeks...) but it's still something special, waiting for a new PHB.
I don't know why, I buy many TTRPG books a year, I am hyped by lot of games, but no other creates this anxiety to get my hands on the new book. I guess that's part of what makes D&D special.
So, I am curious, any other here sharing the emotion of waiting to the book?
