Cover other games?--- Err No

Cover other games on EN Worlds. I would rather not.

Now this is coming from someone who plays other games much more than D20 but I still fear it would reduce the unique quality of this site.

It would be cool to have an EN World for GURPS, Palladium whatever but the logistics boggle.

I don't think there are enough people who want to talk about the other games to make a site worth while I have been to the Palladium site, ICE Forum (Rolemaster) Guild Companion (Also RM) and a ton of other forums. Other than the three GURPS venues (Pyramid, usenet, and yahoo groups) there is very little traffic on any of them. That doesn't mean people don't play, just it isn't as open a community as here

I would rather see EN World stay as is (with a decent profit for the owner and company of course) than be diluted.

I agree fully, do to expand the site. If it gets too thick with other system info it will be more difficult to find what I like and I will not visit as often. Anyway, Morrus, don't you have enough demands on your time already?

I like the site and think it should remain the same.

Don't expand the scope of EN World. As it is, EN World is known for being the best place to talk/read about D20 material outside of a publisher's site. (Hell, sometimes it's better than a publisher's site.) Let other sites handle other games and give them the coverage that EN World gives to D20.

IMO EnWorld is tied with Pyramid for Bets Gaming Site on the internet.

morrus must do what's in the best interest of the site. if that means expanding the horizens, so to speak, who am i to say no? i don't think everyone appreciates the personal and financial sacrafice it must take to run this place.

plus, if it's moderated the same way, it will not turn into rpg.net. those people will be uncomfortable here anyway.

As long as D20 remains the primary focus, I would welcome coverage of other games.

I agree with King_Stannis. If Morrus sees expansion of scope as essential to the site's growth and/or survival, then it's definitely a good idea. If the current level of D&D / d20 coverage doesn't suffer, then I've no problem with it at all.

However, I think that expanding the site to cover other RPGs would definitely require more moderators and you might need an assistant, Morrus.

I'd say go for it...AS LONG AS NOTHING CHANGES IN THE AMOUNT OF D20 CONTENT I dont' mind more systems covered...but only if the amount of material for d20 does not change a bit.

In other words, it probably won't happen...
