it's different, i like it. but we're working with a medium-size creature now, with 5-7 HD unless you wanted to save this description for another monster...?

Devon: Flexibility is a useful ability, what about giving it six legs, just to throw people of?

How about seven legs, seven hit dice, and seven horns above seven eyes? We can get all Qabbalistic on this monster.

Have the lower part of the body have two normal legs and one back-facing leg, and the abdomen/thorax can have the other four legs.

But that would exceed 40 words.

No, I really thought it was a good idea, Krishnath . In fact, I've already written up the creature, in case it doesn't make it to the finals in this project.

But, now that we've completely distracted the focus of this discussion thread (my apologies, Boz)... does anyone else have any ideas for the magical beast project?

well, we've got four, plus the one i made... (which is much less than i was hoping for, to tell you the truth), but i guess that's enough to go on with. i'll set up the poll tomorrow, hopefully we'll get at least one or two more ideas by then.

but if not, that's ok too.

I can probably come up with a few more, if you think that wouldn't be unfair to others (or the project). We could all probably shotgun a few more concepts if asked.
