How about, a simple poll with one question..

Should we move the CRT or no?

And then perhaps the moderators can get an idea, how wll the idea would go over, without having us to continually argue with one another over the subject matter..

Then, we would see if the matter was even worth considering.. if Adele and esteemed company want the input. They might have their own plans..

Anyhow, yes, Just a thought.

I already stated that I've been mulling over some setting changes, which include removing one or both settings, reworking them, moving the tavern, ditching one setting completely (to have TMP and one fantasy) and so forth.

I'm not ready to jump into the water of a poll yet though. I'm not ready to officially open the can of worms until I have the time and drive to follow through to the bitter end. Ultimately a poll right now would be ineffective because it would not result in any immediate change, and things can change so quickly that by the time I was ready to do the attitudes might have changed again.

When the time comes, maybe end of the year, I will have discussions, polls galore, debates, and whatever else I can come up with. I just don't see the use at the moment.

Then for now, how about we either drop the thread, or close it up, since all it's doing is wreaking havoc, in truth. Setting persons off against one in another in endless arguments that lead to nowhere..

Krystal actually no it is not hypocritical. I came up with an idea the majority of the posters don't like it so I dropped the idea and haven't thought about it since I made that post. I had an idea that obviously isn't feasible. What I posted about was concerning people who have the ideas and never post them or let them be heard.

I don't think a poll question would work simply because they are too easy to manipulate. I know myself and others have at the minimum four different board sign in names. Polls on the forums are too easy to manipulate. Even if an IP tag was added so only one vote per IP addy was used you can bypass those easily by releasing and acquiring a new IP addy. Yes some folks would and do go to those links to make sure that their opinion is the one that wins.

I myself haven't seen what has been said as an argument though some have tried baiting in that direction in their posts and pm's. Though the usefulness of this I will agree has come to an end that is why this will be my last post on the subject concerning what the setting should be or not be.

The polls on this board are a lot harder to manipulate than one might think, and I have several means of double checking and preventing/identifying abuse. I'm sure we could get a relatively accurate idea, the largest problem is encouraging those that normally don't comment much to actually participate in the poll.

You are more than right about getting the ones that don't comment getting involved in the polls. If you look through the boards of the recent posts it appears that the same folks are replying to posts. Every now and then you might see someone new but usually it is the same people.
