Cthulhu D20 Sanity Variant

When Cthulhu D20 first came out, someone here posted a pretty good variant rule on treating sanity loss (on the fly I might add). He or she changed it to bring it in line with how other skill checks are made. I spent the last hour looking for that thread to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
