Paranoia + Yanni = Amusingly strung out and stressed players. :]

Just cue up the same driving, cloying, claptrap track of choice every time a fight starts. It's quite evil.
Clearly, Nightfall has never played (let alone run) Paranoia in any form.

Nerfwright, that is easily the coolest thing I have ever heard a GM do for a Paranoia game!   It's perfect on more levels than I can even describe! I'll definitely keep it in mind for the next time I run a Paranoia game- though I'll probably substitute Enya for at least some of it. And not the stuff that became hits on the radio, either- the slow, dreamy stuff. :)

Depends on the ambience of the battle:
If it's an epic glorious beatdown, I play DragonForce. If it's got a more melancholy "thank the gods it's finally finished" tragic-hero type story I play the theme from House of Flying Daggers (which had the best battle of that type ever). For something in between, either LotR or Achilles Last Stand.
