Curious about your present Party Composition

  • Half-Minotaur Berserker 4/Cleric 2. I don't like the name Barbarian, so she's a Berserker instead. She's the party's fighter.
  • Elf Bard 6. He specializes in intimidating his opponents. His fighting style is bolo-jutsu, using bolas in melee combat. We have no rogue, but instead of sneak attacking, the bard just entangles his foes with bolas and lets the rest of the party take them out.
  • Gnome Druid 6. This is the party's healer/tactician. He makes great use of briar web and entangle to trap foes or close off angles of attack so the party is safe. He's also just learned the joys of underwater adventuring, since he can wildshape into inconspicuous fishes.
  • Kobold Wizard 1/Sorcerer 4/Hero 1. The party's 'blaster,' though he doesn't blast too much yet. This fellow is slowly transforming into a small black dragon, and he used his Hero level (from Four-Color to Fantasy) to gain wings and a mild breath weapon. He is also the collector of obscure lore, and his pack lizard has, I think, five spellbooks, one pouch of biomantic research notes, many vials of samples of strange air or water, and a heavy tome on creating undead plants. He's looking for a library at which he can sell his books.

They also have an NPC, a wizard's apprentice that they're defending. She's trying to become the official aeromancer of the Elemental Guardian circle, and the PCs are guarding her on a pilgrimage.
  • Half-Elf Sorcerer 8. All of her spells are air-oriented, so she's not the toughest person in a fight, but she's always flying in combat, and often so is the rest of the party. She's a great tool for me, as a DM, to let the party adventure in unusual places, like underwater (she can fill their lungs with air) or in the sky (flying).

Knights of the High Road

We are:

Uskathoth (bonus points for recognizing the source of this name), smelly recluse, a Dwarf Druid 4/Fighter 2

Jaena, Paladin of Bahumat, Human Paladin 6

Einar, sailor & freedom fighter, Human Fighter 6

Bodi, trickster, Gnome Illusionist 4/Rogue 2

Desta Ne' Shan, bon vivant and soothsayer, Human Cleric (of Fharlangan) 4/Bard 2

So we're more magically diverse than magically focused. Good mix of skills though.

The party in the campaign I just started breaks down as follows.

Human Male Aristocrat 1
Human Male Expert(Smith) 1
Human Female Commoner 1
Human Female Warrior 1

I plan on letting both the Commoner and warrior trade in 500 XP to turn their classes into PC classes. A Soreceror and Ranger I believe. I also know that the Expert is planning on picking up a level in Fighter at 2nd level and I think the Aristorcrat will pick up some rogue levels. From what I know of character plans the breakdown will be:

Human Male Rogue/Fighter
Human Male Fighter/Soreceror
Human Female Sorcoeror
Human Female Ranger

I love bragging about our characters! :D

But it looks like Vymair beat me to it, so I'll edit this out. Curses!

Bear in mind that we play loose and fast with the multi classing rules

Human Paladin/Monk/Ranger/Fighter/Knight of the Chalice

Dwarven Barbarian/Fighter/Ranger/Templar/Cleric/Rogue

Human Initiate/Paladin/Wizard/Arch-Mage

Human Cleric/Fighter/Divine Agent/Heirophant/Something Else(I Forget)

Human Bard/Fighter/Rogue/Holy Liberator/Duelist

Half Elven Monk/Fighter/Rogue/Wasp Bounty Hunter/Order of the Bow Initiate

Human Fighter/Ranger/Paladin/Cleric/Necromancer/Hunter of the Dead

Human Rogue/Fighter/Cleric/Thief Acrobat

All of them are played by separate players. Evryone is around 18th level. We have been playing 3 times a month since december of 2000.

The D&D game I run consists of:

Human Fighter 4/ Rogue 3

Human Cleric 6/Mage-Killer 2

Half-Elf Rogue 5/Ranger 2

Human Wizard 5/Mage of the Arcane Order 3 -- NPC.

My gang USED to look like this (all human):

Fighter 9
Rogue 9
Sorcerer (modified) 8
Psion 4/Rogue 3
Expert 8

Half the party won't be returning from last season, however, so next season is shaping up like:

Fighter 9
Rogue 9
Druid 7
Rogue3/Fighter 2/Assassin 2

Maybe. Something like that, anyway.
