Current Wish List?

Right now there is only one thing on my wish list - the Beholder D&D mini which Paizo is selling for $50.

Edit: you know, to be serious a moment, it's tough for me to say any particular thing. I like it when the writers/editors come up with something that I didn't realize I wanted or needed. The recent haunted house and "birth of the undead" articles are good examples of that. Surprise me. :)

I still want to get Lords of Madness.

After that? I want the environmental books.

Books that haven't come out?

Complete Psionics, Races of the Dragon, MM IV.

And, maybe, the Spell Compendium.

I really like the monster books, so I want more of those.

Ah, hm, not a book wish list (reading is teh good). Where did that other thread go? :uhoh:

For Dragon, I liked those articles that had various NPCs, along with plot hooks. I don't recall what it was called now.

I have to agree with this as well. Not once have I ever read the fiction in Dragon. I buy it for game material. I buy novels for fiction.

I agree about losing the fiction. I also think, that for the most part, lose the Class Acts articles. The first two or three months had some spot on articles, but how many times do I need to see a "Multiclass _________" article? Couldn't these have all been done at once?

I am not a big fan of the Ecology articles, but at least each one is different and well done, so I say keep them.

I love the demonomicon stuff, and agree that it should be expanded for more than just demons.

I like FR, so of course I want more of it, but I DON'T want any Greyhawk stuff, so I think it is a bit unfair to ask for more FR stuff......

I like the odd/off-the-wall articles. (I am currently really enjoying the one about brewing.) These are nicely done, and are fun to read.

I don't need any more classes/prestige classes/feats. Only counting WotC stuff, there are more than enough.

Well, that is all from me, for now.

I thought of something else; the small, light coloured text on a dark background. It makes it really hard to read. I've completely skipped articles because they made my eyes cross...

I would like to see
In every issue (even if only one or two page spread each)

New feats
a new PrC
some new spells
a couple of magic items
a couple of monsters.
That would be 10 pages (assuming 2 each) - that would be my crunch factor. I don't want a lot of any of those, but a little bit each issue.

Have a column /article every issue dealing with one campaign setting - rotate through Greyhawk, FR, and Eberron, and the yearly (or twice yearly) special issue on "dead" campaign worlds. I don't care for or use any of them, but many people like them, and a rotation could give everyone something meaty every few months.

Trim down the "of interest to gamers" that fill up the early pages just a couple.

And then fill the rest with the "theme articles of the month"

I'd like to see Dragon do more of what they've currently been doing. To me, Dragon has never been better!

Although, here are a few of my suggestions....
- Refocus the Class Acts - They're too hit or miss now.
- More psionics support. WotC's doing it, I'd like to see Paizo do it more to! The mind flayer monsters article was a nice step in the right direction.
- A Conversion Article - Wherein stuff from older products is updated to the new edition (be they monsters, spells, magic items, classes)
- More Joachim Barrum and Eva Widermann art - Their art has really enhanced the AoW stuff. :)
- 'An Infinite Abyss Article' - An article which takes either a lesser known Abyssal layer and expands upon it or creates an entirely new one. Replete with sites of interest and that sort of thing.
- Return of the Quasis! - I'd personally like to see a return of the Para and Quasielemental planes to D&D, complete with writeups for the planes and elementals, however they would take up quite a lot of room.
- GH needs more love. Poor, poor GH... maybe just an article or two every once in a while about something in GH, be it the Scarlet Brotherhood, the Bonemarch, Iuz, or something.
