Knight Otu said:While he has no direct healing powers, he could create scrolls, and later (2nd level) potions, of healing. However, that takes the typical amount of time for item creation, and thus is not very useful in emergencies.
Pretty much, though I can also add Repair Light Wounds to my spellbook, so that I could provide some small amount of "healing" for myself.
I've decided to try the warforged wizard - originally meant to be a wizard/fighter, it came out of the forge as only a wizard with mithral lacing (15% failure for spells with somatic components).
I am a bit stumped on the name, which I'm normally not... tentatively I'm going with Flawed, because that is what it thinks it is. But I'm not quite happy with that.
IdentityCrisis said:The mark of healing sounds useful, but I won't be playing a halfling. It's either human or one of the four new races.
Hmm... Maybe we could work my total ignorance of the setting into my character's backstory. Someone with booklearning only and no clue of how things *really* are, for instance.

Ashy said:That could be easy - make your character have amnesia.![]()
Yep - though I'm not sure if my wizard should count as a "real" tank.IdentityCrisis said:He can make them in advance, if they're cheap enough for him.
Well, between that and the Artificer at least one of the tanks will be taken care of. It's the rest of the party I'm worrying about.
Yep. A normal warforged would have a 5% spell failure and a +2 armor bonus - a mithril one has 15 and a +5 armor bonusIdentityCrisis said:That's going to be interesting... A built-in chance for spell failure that you can never get rid of?
Thank you and Ashy for the suggestions. I've actually considered Error, as a kind of memory to the days of "Adventure of Link", where one guy says "I am Error."IdentityCrisis said:Break out your thesaurus. "Broken," perhaps?
IdentityCrisis said:Perfect. Then she wouldn't have to remember what a horribly over-used cliche amnesia is.![]()
