Just wondering, as I sit here with time on my hands and a tepid job search, if there were four folks out there who'd want to play through these two and (depending on how it goes) through the next two adventures as a mini-campaign. If there's interest, I'll take the first four and then two alternates, and we'll get a-rollin'. Character creation would work under the following guidelines:

1. Standard array. 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8. Arrange as desired.
2. Any class from the PHB, ECS, or Expanded Psionics Handbook is game. I want four players, but have no preference on the party mix. We'll be starting at level 1.
3. Max starting gold, max hp.
4. No evil alignments, although selfish, disinterested neutrals would be fine. I'm not looking for heroes so much as I don't want villains.

I prefer that you haven't read/played through either adventure, but that's not a hard and fast rule.

I would love to play! I have not read through it nor have I played through it, however, I am in the process of playing through it here on the boards (just started). I can assure you that I can seperate player knowledge from character knowledge, however.

Oh, and if you allow me to play, I would like to play the following:

Name: Rawhide
Sex/Race: Male Shifter
Class: Barbarian
Prone to wild fits of yowling rage and terrifying bouts of anger, Rawhide is everything that his name infers him to be. The coal black, burly and bushy shifter is more often than not semi-intelligible, but one thing cannot be denied – that he is a force of nature in battle. When his blood becomes churned by the heat of battle, there is very little – wound or word that can pull him off of his intended victims (and occasionally, his friends)!

Actually, if another game ever gets off the ground here, it'll be three. And obviously, I don't mind at all. I actually enjoy playing games like this - I get to see how my different characters (and the inter-party dynamics thusly created) affect the outcome of the decisions made in the game.

And, I just LOVE playin'....

I keep seeing the Eberron setting mentioned, but know nothing about it. Is there a link that would give me a rough idea of what it's like and what classes are available, or would I have to purchase a 20-30$ book to play?

Incidently, if I play I'm thinking of a psionic character with healing and telepathic abilities, particularly the ability to manipulate other people's emotions. Judging from Rawhide's description we may need someone who's not only able to patch the party's tank up, but also to calm him down and pull him off of the other party members!

IdentityCrisis: You might want to check out the WotC website and it's Eberron section. As to what classes and races are available, all the standard classes and races are available as well as one new class (artificier) and four new races (warforged, shifters, changelings, and kalashtar). You don't absolutely need the CS to play, as you can just play with the PHB (I'll help with any setting specific flavor elements). Sound all right?

No Way: Sweet handle. Those classes sound fine.

Knight Otu: Don't worry about it. I'm not as picky as the first post makes it sound. As long as you don't metagame (which I doubt you would), it's cool.
