We should be friends, I'm working on a Master of the Yuirwood

I am definitely up for it! I forgot how much background info there is on FR, so I need some time to re-read everything (been too immersed in Eberron :)). Was hoping to finish the background tonight, but now planning on tomorrow morning.

Nice character Harvey, I hope you're not planning on going up toe to toe with a dragon in the air! Regalclaw's BAB should be +11 i think.

You're right about BAB. I also noticed one or two other mistakes (Init should be +0, not +1), and am tweaking them now...

Also, I'd love to take the dragon on in the air... provided he is a pseudodragon ;) Actually, if we all have to face a pretty big dragon, consider me the distraction... between the immunity to fear, combat reflexes, and aerial evasion, I can see my character being the target for a few rounds while y'all pound away from another direction... and I hereby "donate" the wand of CLW to whoever salvages it when I crash to the ground. :)

Harvey:
Where is the Griffon Rider? What book?
Lance of Bravery? What book?
What is "called"? On the armor. -2850gp price discrepancy
Arcane Spell Failure should be 25% unless it has to do with "Called" or a Griffon Rider ability.
BAB for griffon should be +11 (Thanks Ferrix
I have yet to check your skill points

Silentspace:
Yuirwood PrC sounds good.

Everybody:
If a piece of your character is not in the core books, please specify where it is.

Called is in defenders of the faith, a +1 enchantment, allows the character to call it to them with a word. Basically a way to get your armor on quickly.

Oh yeah, forgot to attach the sniper PrC if you wanted to take a look.

silentspace, you might want to take your first level as a wizard as the wizard substitution level for the elf from Races of the Wild.

For giving up the ability to specialize you get two benefits:
* 1 Extra spell in your spellbook per level.
* May also prepare one additional spell of your highest spell level each day.

That sounds cool, but I don't have it. Could you tell me more?

My apologies... didn't mean to throw out all the insanely remote pieces of information.

1) Aglarondan Griffonrider is a PrC from Forgotten Realms: Unapproachable East (pgs. 18-21)
2) Lance of Bravery is from Arms and Equipment Guide (pg. 111). This is technically v. 3.0.

-- Lance of Bravery: As long as a mounted rider holds the lance of bravery, both she and her mount are immune to all fear effects. The lance of bravery is otherwise identical to a +2 heavy lance.
Caster Level: 11th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, remove fear; Market Price: 30,310 gp; Cost to Create: 15,310 + 1,200XP.

3) Called is from Defenders of the Faith (pg. 23) [as Ferrix points out]. This is technically v. 3.0.

-- Called: This powerful enchantment allows the owner to utter a command word and call the armor or shield to her as a standard action. Armor appears correctly donned at the end of the action, or a shield appears on the proper arm. The armor or shield appears completely
normal otherwise.
Caster Level: 9th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, teleport; Market Price: +1 bonus.

4) OK, the math on the armor should be:
1,500 gp (full plate) + 9,000 gp (mithral) + 4,000 gp (+2 enhancement bonus) = 14,500 gp
So the math is wrong (my bad). I know what happened. Originally, I added another 150 gp for masterwork, however, I then noticed under the entry for mithral in the DMG (pg. 284) that the cost for the item being masterwork was included in the 9,000gp cost for mithral. So, it looks like I subtracted it twice accidentally.

5) Which it looks like I might have also done for the arcane spell failure for full plate...

OK, I am fixing the cost of the armor and the arcane spell failure now. Also, if you need the full into on the Aglarondan Griffinrider, I have access to a scanner and would be more than happy to scan it in and send it to you.

Thanks!

Okay, so I was thinking a straight up druid as we'll already have one wizard I don't know if it'll be necessary to have a second arcane caster. I considered a psion as well.

Oh yeah, looking over Dakkon, he can still be caught flat-footed, he just retains his dexterity to his AC when it happens. This is an important thing to remember.

From the races books, each race gets three classes which have racial substitution levels, elves who are rangers, wizards or paladins have them.

You don't have to take all of the racial substitution levels, you choose.

As a first level elven wizard you may choose to give up the option to specialize and receive the benefits I said above.

They also have a third level racial substitution level and a fifth I believe. The third doubles the bonuses your familiar gives you but takes away the deliver touch spells and speak with animals of it's kind abilities. The fifth lets you take an ranged combat type feat rather than a metamagic or item creation feat for your bonus feat (i think, not checking my books at the moment).

Harvey: You get the official "Okay". I don't have the Unapproachable East, so yeah, if you could scan it or just give me a write-up, whatever. (Actually, I think it's illegal... Oh well!) The arcane spell failure thing didn't really matter, since you're a paladin and all. I was just being picky. ;) Your skills check out fine, feats are good, "Greater Sunder" is okay. Only two minor details: The "Spell Save" entry should be "12+spell level" because your Wisdom is 14 (+2). And after your HP, put your HD math like this: "(5d10+10, 2d10+4, 4d8+8)"

Ferrix: Whatever you want, my friend. Psionics are not prevalent in my plans, but if you play a psion, I'll throw some psionic treasures/enemies/whatnot at you. And yes, psionics are different from magic for me. A druid would be cool, too. We'd kinda have a wilderness gang. But like I said, whatever you want.
