Armand runs after the others into the keep. Once inside, he'll take to the center of the party and channels a Mass Bull's Strength.

Elrick waits inside the great hall of the keep to see what the dragon will do next. He can see that most hallways leading to other parts of the keep have collapsed, but the great hall is mostly intact.

Ghannellis makes it to the doorway and into the great hall of the keep.

Thergan moves into the great hall of the keep. “Vannyn, where would I have to strike to bring down the structure?” Without waiting for an answer he yells up at the dragon, “You pathetic once-dragon, I will write the ballad myself, how the quaking pile of bones trembled in the sky afraid to face the might of those that destroyed him!”

Daniel peers over the edge of the hole and sees that it should be a fairly easy climb down to where ever the dragon came from. He begins the climb down the hole.

Vannyn moves from some of the ruins where he had stop to cast his spell to the entrance to the great hall with Snaps still along for the ride. As he enters he replies to Thergan's question with a question of his own. "Bring down the great hall? As in the building we're standing inside right now?" Without waiting for an answer, Vannyn looks around for a moment assessing the structural integrity of the great hall. But he believes that the main hall is still in good structural shape. It would take much more than just Thergan to topple it.

The elemental attacks the dragon twice. But the attacks bounce off of the dragon's tough hide.

Dargo moves to the great hall entrance and enters.

Snaps stays with Vannyn.

Armand moves to the great hall entrance and inside, positioning himself at a central point in the group. He then casts his Mass Bull's Strength spell catching everyone except Daniel who is heading down the hole. (+4 Strength for everyone except Daniel but including Snaps. OOG: Super Ferret!)

Next round:

The dragon bites at the elemental and hits. (27 damage) Then it flies down to the entrance to the great hall and speaks with a raspy, yet booming voice. "It isss I who ssshall kill you this day, puny mammalsss!" As it flies away the air elemental gets an attack of oppurtunity. Although the attack finds its mark, it fails to cause any damage.

Initiative:
Dead Dragon 15 Done
Elrick 15
Ghannellis 15
Thergan 12
Daniel 11
Vannyn 11
Huge Air Elemental 11
Dargo 8
Snaps 6
Armand 2

Great plan, next time, I think I will use someone else as bait Thergan thinks as he watches the massive creature come in the door.

"At least the DOG comes when it is called!" Thergan yells up at the beast. He then begins to sing the best song he can remember about their original defeat of the dragon as he uses his augmented speed to the backside of the dragon.

[ooc: He will use a standard action to inspire courage and set up a flanking position with Ghannellis (presuming Ghannellis rushes to attack) Current AC: 33, HP:137 move: 60]

Vannyn, Diviner 14, 42[+20] of 72hp

OOC: Arrgh. Current spell loadout is not optimized for combat. Especially against undead dragons... Especially when I then summon a creature that can't penetrate the dragon's DR... :(

"The keep is built too well Thurgan, you're not going to be able to collapse it."

Vannyn moves to keep himself well out of range of the dragons physical attacks and tries to stay out of any likely arc of fire for it's breath weapon & then casts Protection from Acid.

The elemental moves in from behind to continue attacking the dragon.
(OOC: huge elemental should allow multiple PC's to flank).

OOC: Tell me about it :p

Armand looks around for some window to peer through and if he spots the dragon within his range, he'll blast it with Searing Light.

Elrick throws his axe at the dragon, but it only bounces off of it.

Ghannellis charges the dragon and swings his short sword. It hits cutting into the dead dragon's rotting flesh (21 damage against dragon). As Ghannellis gets into range, the dragon gets an AoO on Ghannellis and strikes with his bite (18 damage against Ghannellis).

Thergan yells, "At least the DOG comes when it is called!" Then he begins to break into song as he moves to around to the rear of the beast. "Eight great ones took down the great dragon Toxous that day...." (Inspire Courage)

Daniel continues climbing down the hole.

Vannyn yells, "The keep is built too well Thurgan, you're not going to be able to collapse it." Then he casts 'protection from energy:acid' on himself and Snaps.

The elemental moves to the dragon's rear.

Dargo casts Slow on the dragon and it begins moving much more slowly.

Snaps stays with Vannyn.

Armand casts searing light on the beast and hits it (37 damage against dragon).

Next round:

Upon hearing Thergan's song, the dragon speaks, but more slowly then before. "Eight? Celine?" It twists and slaps at the elemental with one of its hands. But it misses.

Initiative:

Elrick 15
Ghannellis 15
Thergan 12
Daniel 11
Vannyn 11
Huge Air Elemental 11
Dargo 8

Now that the melee is truly joined, Ghannellis throws back his head and lets out another inhuman screech like a frenzied Boar and rains a storm of blows into the Dragon. Die abomination and then bring out you mistress. It seems we will have a dire reckoning with our old companion.

[OOC: Full Attack at +28/+28/+23/+18 for 1d6+13 and +28/+23 for 1d6+10 (TWC Attack +20/+15/+10 & +20/+15, extra attack from Haste, +1 from Haste, +2 from Rage, +1 from Inspire Courage, +2 from Flanking, Favoured Enemy +4, Shaken -2 and no power attack)
