The die is cast, there is nothing left but the doing

As his song goes to the rising crescendo, Thergan lets fear turn to anger and anger turn to RAGE and the song turns to a primal scream. His Greatsword comes to life whistling through the air, hungry for destruction.

[ooc: Rage and full attack +30/+30/+25 (extra attack from haste, +1 from haste, +1 from inspire courage, +2 from rage, +2 from flanking, -2 from shaken) for 2d6 +24 (+3 from rage, +1 from inspire courage) current AC:31 HP:165 five rounds left of inspire courage]

Vannyn, Diviner 14, 42[+20] of 72hp

Vannyn points his rod at the dragon and fires off a volley of Empowered Maximized Magic Missiles.
 

Daniel hears the fighting above and is torn for a moment, does he go search for the phylactery or return to help his friends. "BAH! screw it, time enough to find it AFTER we're out of peril." He mutters to himself, and SHIFTS back to the top of the hole, then moves towards the dragon.

(OOC: with my SHIFT ability, I can Dimension Door up to 720 feet once every 1d4 rounds, then I move 60' towards the dragon with my move action (Boots of striding + Springing). If the dragon is 70' or less away, I'll stop 10' from him. Otherwise go as far as I can towards it)

Elrick throws his axe at the dragon once more, but it only bounces off again.

Ghannellis is a fighting machine as he wails on the great beast. The hide of the creature is indeed tough, however three attacks find their mark (60 damage against dragon).

Thergan attacks the beast and two blows strike while the third glances off the beast's hide. (65 total damage against dragon).

Daniel dimension doors to the great hall and appears next to Elrick. (Actually you can D-door a total of 960 feet, 400 ft + 40 ft/level based on your character level. But once there you cannot act until your next round, per the description of the spell.)

Vannyn casts his spell and five glowing missiles spring from his fingers and crash into the beast. (33 total damage against dragon)

The elemental attacks the dragon but fails to do any damage.

Dargo casts a spell and five glowing missiles shoot from his fingers and strike the beast with no effect.

Snaps stays with Vannyn.

Armand casts sunbeam and aims a beam at the beast. The dragon is bathed in the beam. (26 total damage against dragon)

Next round:

The dragon steps back away from the melee and launches itself back into the air flying upwards to an altitude of around 50 feet. Daniel, Thergan, and the elemental take their attacks of oppurtunity as the dragon backs away. Daniel hits (25 damage against dragon) and Thergan hits (35 damage against dragon), but the elemental misses.

26? Minimum damage for a Maximized Empowered Magic Missile should be 30. (25 for the Maximize and a minimum of 5 from the Empower)

Thergan is lost to the Rage, his only thought is the destruction of his enemy. He charges after the dragon, alone.

[ooc: Charge 120' (30 + 30 from haste x2 base move for charge) If I can reach him +30 to hit (+2 charge, +1 Inspire courage, +1 Haste, +2 Rage, -2 Shaken) 2d6 +24 damage (+3 Rage, +1 inspire courage) AC:29 (whee) HP 165, 4 rounds of inspire courage]
 

If the creature is within range (within 60') Dargo will cast Heal and attempt to touch the dragon. Otherwise, he will continue to use his magic missiles on the assault.
