[D&D 4e] IG's "The Witchlight Strand"

[sblock=OOC for Korash]Don't forget that, when you shift to F5, you're flanking the enemy. That gives you a +2 bonus to attack since he grants combat advantage from the flank. In this particular instance I don't think it'll change anything, but it is something to keep in mind for the future.[/sblock]

or he would have been if O'Beth didn't move to E6 before Vatan moved. The lass is in trouble, but he couldn't leave O'Beth to fight this guy alone.

Seeing that shaman dash across to the door way, Druthruss switches to his axe, makes a dash himself to F9, charges him and tries to bury it with his best aim between his shoulder blades.

[sblock="roll"]
1d20+2 = 12+2 for 14 to hit. I think I get another +1 for the charge to make 15 but I don't know if I get flanking or hit to his rear if he is going in the door to get it to 17 but I think its a miss.

Also, if I use my action point then can I attack again ?

The attack is a miss, but you can spend an action point to take another standard action if you want.

Druthruss makes a second attack in a slightly desperate attempt to swing the battle in the allied favor but it is to no avail as the axe swings fairly wide of the mark.

Pier and Aridha make quick work of the two archers as Druthruss charges the Shaman. The only blood spilled in that exchange, however, is dwarven blood as the orc catches him with the tip of his spear before moving inside the building with Andri Ziuul.

The terrorblade roars as O'Beth and Vatan move in on him. Even as they both land their respective blows, the muscled orc shrugs off the pain and lands a ferocious blow of his own. O'Beth thinks he sees the orc grin as he falls to the ground unconscious. Vatan, on the other hand, is absolutely certain of the grin, as the orc turns to face him one-on-one.

As the unknown priest goes down, Pier decides to try to intimidate the now-solitary orc with a display of his arcane power. He steps out of the doorway, shouting the words of his spell, and holds his staff aloft. It shines forth with a bright light as Pier flings bolts of force at his enemy.

That's not an Intimidate check, only an attempt to distract the orc from the wounded Vatan. If I look impressive enough, maybe it will come for me, allowing Vatan to get in an OA. Scary that I'm now the toughest nut on the field.

Aridha takes a step north, flashing back to the shape of an elf maid as she does...and a badly injured one at that. Blood runs freely from a cut on her side, and another from her leg, but she still has fight in her.

This is demonstrated as she lifts a hand skyward and utters an invocation in the Druidic tongue...an entreaty that the smoke-tinged sky answers with a stroke of lightning that crashes down on the powerful orc's head!

(Shift 1 to E0, wildshape as minor, Storm Spike on T1. 1d20+4 vs Reflex to hit, for 1d8+4 damage, and another 4 damage if he fails to move at least 2 spaces on his next turn.)

(Invis Castle is down at the moment, but I'll roll when it's back, or feel free to roll yourself if you prefer.)
