With the loss of its partner, the ettin finds itself surrounded. The fight is furious as the growls, both humanoid and giant, fill the forest. Eventually, though, the inevitable happens, and the bloodied group finally brings the giant down into a hulking heap of gore.

The old man appears to be out of breath from just watching the battle.

[sblock=OOC]The thing was nearly dead anyway, so there's really no sense dragging it out when we can move on and hopefully get back into this thing.[/sblock]

Shaimon Hu'u, druidic human ranger

The gator's scales leach of color, and fly apart in a small cloud as Shai stands, human again. Dyspeer runs to his human's side, knocking him to the ground and licking his face.

"I sure hope you don't get a lot of those 'round here," Shai says to the dumbfounded old man.

Uulark Simental, Longtooth Shifter Cleric of Sehanine L11

The battle concluded, Uulark dismisses his Spiritual Weapon and surveys his band of friends and how injured they seem to be. "Yes, let us hope that the arrival of these foul creatures was a rare occurrence here."

OOC: Uulark will take a short rest and dispense healing to whomever wants/needs it.

While Buurt could be stoic about it, he's most definitely not feeling like being stoic about it as he gathers with the others.

"D@MN that hurt," grumbles the orc. "It's as if I was some thing to be batted around by that thing."

The lightning around Talashia's hands jumps suddenly to the ground at the edge of the water with a flash and a crack, and she dusts her palms off against each other.

"I never cease to be astonished by the sheer amount of punishment giants can take. Two headed, or otherwise."

She turns to look at the man. "Lucky for you we showed up when we did. Any chance you could point us to the nearest town?"

"I...I," the man stutters. "Come with me," he finally says. "It's not far, but far enough you'll be wantin' a proper meal before the trip. It's the least I could do to repay you for what you've done."
