D&D 4e is pure win and I'll tell you why...

Heh, one of the gals I game with on occasion has been rather...vocal about her dislike of 4e. Another one has no problems with them so long as we alter Dragonborn. She's not a fan of the dragonboobs, to put it politely.

1 word - Cookies!

I probably can not convince my wife to play any edition, but she does make the group cookies! I think that's a net win for me!

Realizing this has sort of become about women and gaming, but still...

I'm confused....is a thread that proclaims 4e is great, and better than 3.5 for a given reason or set of reasons NOT an 'edition wars thread'?

Is a thread that says that 3.5 is better than 4e an edition war?

I've seen moderators jump on with warnings and such, but I am serious when I say that the lines seem fuzzy to me. Is there a posted operational definition of 'edition war'?

Actually, the thread title is "4e is pure win and I'll tell you why". Theoretically, it doesn't tell us anything about 3E or anything. Maybe 3E is also pure win, maybe not. The OP definitely focused on the fact that his wife is now playing with him, which could make any game or any edition pure win. ;)

I was merely answering your question as to why people were offended. Is something wrong?

Not on my end, but as you see, there is mass bunching of panties going on…from "men".

Okay, sorry everyone if you think I was insulting your female partner, I'm sure they're just lovely looking, is that okay, can I go now?
