It is literally its business, but some times I worry about a possible buble, too many cards being released, and new or casual players can't follow the rythm to complete the collections.

If WotC doesn't take care, some day players will stop to buy the new sets.

I mean, if it is anything like the recent Holy Grail Secret Lairs then almost no one who wants it will get their order in before the limited quantities run out. :-/

They still have time to nip the scalpers problem in the butt hopefully. Putting some on D&D Beyond might help as well as the bots likely are prepped to target Beyond.
 

I guess the collabs can be sold because some people are collectors, and they love the franchise even if they aren't true Magic: the Gathering players.

But my fear is happening something like 3.5 edition when lots of sourcebooks were published, but nobody had got enough money to buy all them.

Do you remember when anybody stopped playing warhammer because there was always new miniatures and armies updates?
