Alot of info in this video. In the monster section there will be Drow Monsters, Shadar Kai Monsters, and Eldarin monsters.

And they sort of turned the Drow into TERFs, I'm not kidding, watch the video and you'll see it, I promise.

I don't want to spoil anything more, but watch it.

They're a species of evil, matriarchal, misandric theocrats whose goddess literally preaches the inferiority and disposability of males. People have been assuming they're TERFs since as long as transexuals have been acknowledged as existing by the D&D fandom.

I hadn't realized that, this idea appears to go back further then expected, but it's a logic conclusion. Even in Elaine Cunningham's novel Ever meet, there was a sense that Lolth was pushing Corellon into a more Masculine role then he'd previously held, and I see no reason why he wouldn't go back to being more himself once he dumped her for trying kill him (at a least at the time him).

Still technically I guess these blessed beings are more intersexed then Trans, since I think they are fertile in either form. It does make one wonder if with proper preparation, could one get themselves pregnate?

I know one of the character ideas the give in the PHB is a male Drow priest that escapes from Drow society because they really don't like guys being priests.

Them being TERFs with that story hook in mind makes sense.

This would make for a terrible BBEG for a campaign: the Self-Born of Corellon, so much more than an Exarch or a Chosen, the true infant of a God egoistic enough to give divine life to a clone of him/herself.

Imagine Corellon starting to replace the elven pantheon with Self-Borns, killing others gods to give their domain to His sons/daughters who are also Him at the same time, becoming a One True God amongs the elves.

Also note that Jeremy said the whole Drow and Elf Pantheons will be discussed, that could possibly include some deities that were not touched by the SCAG, such as Elf deities that exist in Greyhawk and not the realms, for example.

It also means that if they explore Selvtarm's origins, they have to mention his mother, Sharess, who was created by the merger of the Mulhorandi deity Bast, with a Yuirwood Pantheon Goddess/adopted member of Seldarine when the Seldarine adsorbed the Gods of the Yuirwood Pantheon, Zandilar. Zandilar/Sharess/Bast/Felidae still had Elven and Half Elven worshippers and as of Demihuman Deities was technically considered a member of the Seldarine. So hopefully she will appear in the book.

It also means that Selvatarm himself is only a Half Drow God, the other half being a human God. He's directly related to the Mulhorand Pantheon by blood. Perhaps Nar as well, because Yuirwood Pantheon was originally a human Nar pantheon before being absorbed by the Seldarine. Side not the human God of time Chronos, was also absorbed by the a God of the Seldarine.

I also note that it's interesting how they mention Kyrnn Dark Elves look nothing like other Drow at all, and they go into that.

It makes me feel like I'm right and they will explore different racial setting variants of each subrace.

I don't think he's that vain.
