D&D Comic creators announced!

IDW editor Denton Tipton unveiled the creative team behind the first D&D comic series they're launching (set in Fallcrest):

Writer: John Rogers (Blue Beetle, Leverage, Transformers, The Core)
Artist: Andrea DiVito (Thor, Annihilation)

Characters include a human warlord, a dwarf paladin, an elf ranger, a halfling rogue (and by the looks on the art, a tiefling wizard).

Covers will be provided by Wayne Reynolds and Paul Renaud.

In fact, I have never really been into comics in general (not sure why either), but I might have to check these out

The last time I was at comic book stores, the owners mentioned most of their customers are people in their 30's, 40's or 50's who collected comics back when they were kids several decades ago. Not as many kids or teenagers walking into their shops these days. They suspected the sticker shock of $4 to $5 cover price of comic books, have scared the kids and teenagers away over the last 10+ years.

With that being said, I'll probably check it out for the artwork if and when they release bundled annual volumes of issues in one book.

His best work for me is still Blue Beetle.

But then again, "Leverage" doesn't air here in Hepmonaland and Amedio Jungle.
