D&D possible cause in Murder case again.

Hm.. what about double-bladed sword? Would be hard to reconstruct the case, unless they found the weapon. Or what about a mercurial greatsword?

"Due to the extremely tanned and healthy nature of the corpse-- death notwithstanding-- police are now on the lookout for a killer armed with a Sunblade."

"Good lord! He's been beheaded!"
"Vorpal Blade. I'd bet my life on it."
"Excellent detective work, Jim."

"Detective, the victim has been dead for three hours now, but it's still bleeding."
"Damn, we have a weapon of wounding user. Those things cost 18300 at least. Get the call out, we're looking for a villain, at least 10th level."

don't we have a guy from King of Prussia on these boards. or am i confusing him with another site.

Drawmack????

I'm from Malvern, which is about 5-10 minutes south of King of Prussia. There are a few others in the area, but closer to me than K.O.P., unless I'm mistaken.

King Stannis is from Erie, PA....which is on the BORDER TO CANADA. He couldn't be any further from King of Prussia if he tried, and still remain within the state. He is on the exact opposite end of the state...closer to Akron, OH and Buffalo, NY than he is to King of Prussia, PA. :)

Wow lots of Philly people here... I'm from South Jersey near Cherry Hill.

Next time a terrorist blows something up, I want to hear a news report linking it to D&D. "The terrorist seems to have been trying to emulate a 'fireball' spell." That's about as good logic as is used to assiciate D&D with these murders.

What we need are some positive DnD things said. Go with the new anti-drug ad program-

"DnD is my anti-drug"

Dnd keeps folks OUT of mischief.

o' course with todays media it would something akin to-

"children are brainwashed and remain home to roll dice all day. In further news, a scienetist has proven that using one's imagination causes brain cancer. Avtivists demand more movies that lack imagination and cognitive thought. Tonite- Arnold S in Collateral Damage."

Ugh- next to politicians and lawyers I hate reporters the most. I'm once I deal with the IRS they will make my dislike list also. But I degress..... :\

Okay, beyond the obvious "what's the connection", does the statement itself sound... EXTREMELY DUMB to anyone else? I can imagine something this vague and generalized coming out of John Q. Public, but a district attorney??? A Lawyer???

Yes, it does. I briefly thought about trying to track this idiot down and asking him if they had removed his brain since he took the bar exam. I don't know about the Pennsylvania bar exam, but when I took the Virginia bar exam it pretty much seemed to be geared towards weeding out total morons.

The bar exam might weed out morons but it certainly lets through lots of political grandstanding. He probably thought it would play well to his political base.
