D&D possible cause in Murder case again.

Well, for the hip-hop you are gonna need baggy clothes, name brand stuff. Some tan boots, a bandanna, strap a 9 (gotta fire it sideways, don't forget!!!)

Don't forget to wear a huge pendant on a huge chain that hangs down to near your normal waist, not the waistline point of your pants, which are barely sitting on the lower portion of your heiny. And a long shirt. And boxers. With some sort of noticeable print on them so that they stand out. And the name brand stuff has to be clothing made by a famous rapper. The baggier the better. And a ballcap made by the same company worn backwards or sideways.

And school closings!! And school closings!! Nothing says winter like listening to KYW rattle off a list of numbers for school snow days.

God I miss snow days!! Why don't they have those for work? I'm still taking a bus!

Me too. Everytime it snows, I STILL GOTTA GO TO WORK!!!!   Even when we got 15" of the stuff (rare for NC) and noone wanted to pay to clear the lot..... And the one person who lives maybe a mile at the most away will always stay outta work. ::grumble:: whereas the one guy who walks 6 miles(!) makes it on. ::shakes head::

Games of any sort are never responsible for murder. Peoples varied insanities and insecurities are responsible for murder.

What I don't understand is why they aren't investigating shows like Iron Chef: America, or the Culinary institutes since they too include many knives and much cutting. Lets not forget that such dangerous shows as these also include fire! They MUST be responsible for all of the arsons in the world as well.

Yep, D&D has its nut jobs. I really think they may be onto something. I bet they could also link first person shooting games to killers as well, I bet some even watch TV or read. I dare to guess that some killers play card games, drink milk and even have sex. I think if we got rid of D&D, movies, books, TV. video games, cards, milk and sex the world would be a safer place. Most likely because we would all be bored to death, but that is just my opinion.

She's not an elected official, therefore anything she says doesn't mean Jack Sh*t.

You mispelled something there. It's "Jack Chick"

I doubt that, since all D&D players are geeks and they don't get any. We all know that.

I'll believe D&D was directly responsible for a death when someone pounds a d4 into the victim's aorta using the Arms and Equipment Guide as a hammer.

Ahah! Blackleaf didn't even get a Fortitude save! I smell a conspiracy!
Fort saves didn't exist back in '84, sonny boy. :)

Then you'd have the "Say NO to D&D" campaign started by Tipper Gore.
IIRC, Nancy Reagan started that campaign. Flipper and her senatorial wives coffee clutch started the record label movement, and was also one of the people using her "position" to express her concern about the dangers of D&D.

What we need are some positive DnD things said.

I could not agree more. If D&D were to get mainstream advertising time, this would be the best way to represent it as well IMHO. D&D, and roleplaying in general, did exactly what you are saying for me. While my friends were getting high, getting into fights, and getting arrested for various criminal activities ... I was eating pizza and playing games in my friend's dining room.

Now THAT's a D&D death. :)

d20's are larger, rounder, and cause more blockage, however, even if they are more blunt. :D

If someone's missing a post, it's probably because it contained rather inappropriate political comments not entirely unlikely to cause a flame war. (Quite possibly intended as humor, but that doesn't make it less problematic.)
