We now have the ability to send and receive PMs (thank you EN World!) so if you have questions you'd rather ask privately, feel free to PM me.

Two days left. Then we begin. :D

Just to update, Alaric will compete in the Debate, Drinking Contest, Dueling Tournament (depending on rules), Oratory, Castles, and Wrestling (depending on rules).

Since he failed to learn Cat's Grace during his studies so far, he won't really be able to compete in Archery. He doesn't stand a chance at jousting, and I don't think he'd manage to do well at a Fox Hunt. He may stand a chance of doing alright at Wrestling and Dueling depending on the rules for those events, since he'll need to use certain spells to really contend in those.

Question: Are the tournaments handled as single contests, or is it a series of things? Like, if one participates in Castles, is it one long event, or do you play one person...then later on another...and then another, and so on?

I think Renaldo would like to participate in the dueling. is it 50 gp per event? or 50 for entry and go for several events?

The 50 gp fee is only if you are establishing citizenship by membership in the Adventurer's Guild. If you are already an Azgundi citizen, you're all set.

The events that are one-on-one style events (dueling, wrestling, Castles) are single elimination mini-tournaments with 8 entrants per mini-tournament. The other events generally run around 8 participants also but the competition works a little differently (the first to find the fox, the archer with the most bullseyes, etc).

We start today! :D

Recruiting is officially closed.
