Alaric shrugs. "Nope. Never met 'er b'fore. So, 's strange. Not that I aim t' dis'point, so I won't sleight 'er by ignorin' the invitation, outta the blue though it is." He keeps on walking, thinking on the situation. He silently curses himself for losing track of his devious plans for Entan.

I've noticed Alaric's started using an accent. I like it. Is there a story behind it?

Alaric's a country boy and kind of a hick. ^_^ He's just getting lazier in his speech and falling back on old habits, after being out of Azgund's capitol for awhile and away from Master Entan. You may've noticed he talks a little more formally around Corath or other folks that look important/noble.

His little idiosyncracies and occasional randomness are why he's not lawfully-aligned, despite his studiousness and obsession with tinkering/plotting.

For those who've seen my recent withdrawal from PbP gaming over on the WotC forums, I just wanted to assure you that the only thing that is going to pull me away from this game is if I actually get the job I'm in the running for.

Unless and until that happens, I intend to keep this going for as long as the players are interested.

No, I did. I thought I had made a particular quip quote, but was in error. I am sorry for the confusion. I have edited my post accordingly.
