And there goes the DM raining on Estelle's parade.

My face-to-face character is a kill stealing Mystic Theurge. It can be an absolute blast walking in at the very last second and landing an easy 1d6 to take away all the fighters' efforts and then take all the credit for it.

But if you do that as a character you have to make sure you brag about it in the future, "Hey, you remember that time I killed that umberhulk? Yeah, that was cool."

Estelle could be that cool...

Hehe. I run a game called The Battle Nexus over on the WotC forums that subtly discourages that sort of play via crowd reaction rules...you get morale bonuses and penalties based on whether the crowd likes you and they react negatively to "kill-stealers" in group matches. ;) So, good way to win, but it hurts you in the long run.

Tell me. I've lost an hour of writing on my game. I had two choices, start writing again or curse impotently at the monitor.
I picked the second one.

ya know ... so far Renaldo has "bumped" into a bullying mercenary, a crazed lady/plague crazed silver dragon and now estelle:

Outside the Adventurer's Guilde Compound

Renaldo emerges from the tavern and exits the compound via the main gate, nearly running into a young woman, Estelle, conversing with the guard in his haste.

Estelle notes the finery of an Azgundi elite guard, as well as the official heraldry of Anovia adorning the man's uniform.

i would feel paranoid if it wern't for the fact that you really are out to get me here!
