[D&D3.5] Paths of Legend: The Azgundi Tournaments (OOC)

I am pretty much cluless as to how much work this would be, but what if it was the same time frame as azgundi tournys, jsut a different part of the world or another part of the kingdoms where some other thing is happening, connected or unconnected, what ever you decide?

perhaps a Kingdom neiboring to azgundi has detected a threat to their autominy from a source that leads to ...? further intrigue in azgundi? world chaos and destruction? a merging of two kingdoms in the future to protect the sorld from extra-planer threats? ...?

just a bit of brain storming to possibly help.

That's one idea I was toying with, though I'd put it much more geographically distant so there's less likelihood of the two campaigns crossing paths.

When Tragedy at Silvergard was getting started, I also had another PbP going on the WotC forums happening concurrently, as well as a tabletop game on Friday nights.

All three campaigns took place (at least to begin with) at about the same time, game time. The tabletop campaign was busy traveling through the Orc-controlled steppes east of Azgund while the WotC forums PbP was taking place in Turen, the country northwest of Azgund.

I shall have to ponder more...hmm...perhaps something on the elven continent...something hinted at recently during a conversation overheard by our resident ranger...hmm...

i find these quite suited to pbp games if you've got the right players.

It has crossed my mind, but I immensely prefer the interactions of a decent size group. It takes the story in intriguing directions.

3.5 Era

This is the era that encompasses the Azgundi Tournaments.

What Came Before

This is the setting that existed before the current 3.5 Era setting. It is Earth, several thousand years after a magical apocalypse wiped out the modern world. It also uses the 3.5 ruleset.

D20 Modern Era

Not an era, actually, but the setting that lies on the other side of the Shadow Barrier...modern Earth in the aftermath of a magical invasion.

As far as my 2 CP go, those are the only ones I'd be interested in. I'm not sure yet if I want to join another PbP yet, but probably. I'll never play in a game using Book of Vile Darkness or Book of Exalted Deeds, aside from possible use of monsters from them by some other DM, on principle and because of the wonky rules.

Don't mind the Sandbox thing either way, and while I am slightly familiar with Dragonlance and don't dislike it, I just don't know anything about it beyond the original novel trilogy, and would thus have a horrible time trying to RP in it.

Estelle is now an ECL 3 character, though she's still currently only a Level 1 Rogue, so should she get a feat for gaining third level? I'm uncertain on how to handle this.

Oh, and I got my internet (finally) hooked up at home. So I'm good to go as soon as I get this in and you're ready for her.

Feats, ability score increases, and other level dependent benefits, ignore level adjustment, instead going off of total HD. So, of the purposes of when Estelle gets new feats, she is still considered 1st level.

I'm going to put Estelle in the IC right away, though we'll still need to finalize her stats.
