"I think we need to head to Duvik road and check out that camp. While I'd rather deal with the monsters first, we need to know what the soldiers are doing in terms of 'collecting' people as soon as possible... that could be a very bad situation."

ooc: I'm heading out on a road trip, and may not be able to post much for the next couple of weeks. When the party is alone, Ironwolf will suggest having his psicrystal scout out the soldiers camp by climbing the wall at night. Ironwolf wants to be sure the soldiers aren't killing the people they take in, and/or somehow transforming them into monsters.

Michael listens patiently, but unless someone else comes up with a new question, he will try to bring the meeting to a gracious close.
He will offer a blessing and brief prayer if anyone requests it, but otherwise the party had best be on their way and discussing things quietly amongst themselves.

Hulgyr remains silent as Michael says his blessings and says the goodbyes.

ooc: have fun Patlin. Doghead: will Hulgyr be carrying a club or get his hands on something that passes as a greatclub?

Eternity will offer what pleasantaries she can while Michael offers a more formal if brief farewell. She then leads Kailie on away from the shepards, looking to their guides for direction.

--- THE BAINLUNDER HILLS ---

The two groups separate and head their respective ways. The rest of the day passes uneventfully. It continues to rain for the rest of the day, and through the night. Everyone is soaked through and cold. With the exception of Mikal. Beneath his cloak his clothes appear to be fairly dry.

Around late afternoon on the next day, Mikal draws his horse to a halt and signals for the others to do so. He points up ahead. "Ants."
