D20 Modern in 2007?

Doubt I'm alone but I'd like to see d20 Spectaculars in print.

I have no interest in this. d20 Modern is just not a good fit for supers.

Another reason Im not sure the proposed publishing plan would be the best idea for a company of WOTC's size.

Yup, and about every other d20 supers attempt. The only one that really does supers well is Mutants & Masterminds and that's because it threw out huge chunks of the d20 System in the first place.

I haven't seen B&V (although I am a big fan of Vig's work in general). However, Steve Kenson did exactly everything in M&M which I had written on Monte's boards needed to be done,imo, to do d20 Supers well.

While I agree wholeheartedly about MnM, at this point, I'd welcome d20 Spectaculars just to maintain the d20 Modern line going.

As of this moment, there is nothing being mentioned nor leaked about any release of new d20 Modern product this year.

Well with d20 Wild West, they could convert old Boot Hill stuff. Ditto with Roaring Twenties and Gangbusters. Precedent has been set with Star Frontiers (and the Alternity stuff) in d20 Future. Doubtful it would happen without renegotiation but there's a lot of Marvel Superhero stuff (99.99% of which is out of date comicwise now).
