Well, let's see. The magic advanced classes are all 10 level classes that davance to casting 5th level spells/powers.
Telepath gets bonus PP based on Cha.
Battlemind is like a combo psychic warrior/mindblade. Up to 4th lvl powers and gets both a psychic blade of mental energy and a psychic shield of mental energy.
Mages go to 5th level spells and are wizard-like (Int bonus spells and spellbook). They do get familars.
I don't see any sorcerer equivalent advanced class during my quick glance.
Acolyte is goes to 5th level divine spells and can turn undead.
The spells such pretty much D&D standards with a couple new modern spells like Power Device.
The magic item section is pretty light. However there are something modern magic things like duct tape of repair and crystal pistols.
Everything in the book is for modern era. No spaceships or such however the rules seem more general (adaptible) then D&D so Future D20 would just be a matter of creating new equipment and advanced classes. Mecha Crusade in Poly is a group example of how easy it is to do sci-fi with D20 Modern.
Anything specific you want to know?
