Well, if you did random Domains, and not random Class, you'd run into the trouble of not having the actual Class structure (it's not much, but it is there). I suppose you could have a mechanism for picking a base Evasion and base Hit Points on a sliding/inverse scale (e.g. as Evasion goes up, HP goes down) and a "Spend 3 Hope, choose from this menu of options" for the base Class Hope Feature, and a similar menu for the Class Features.

Well. I just mean at character creation: deal each player 4 cards. 1 Ancestry, 1 Community, and 2 Domains, ao the combo of Domains indicates which Class they get, and then choose the details and fill in the lines.
 

If the Domains are random, then you could get Domains that aren't part of the class circle – e.g. Splendor only goes to Wizard or Seraph, and Bone only goes to Ranger or Warrior. So if you draw Splendor and Bone, you don't have a Class.

That is aggravating.

Why all the cards if it can't do proper procedural generation with them...
