Did the actual Session 1 of my new DH campaign today.

Motherboard setting with a heavy dose of Horizon ZD mixed in.

Used a starter adventure off their webpage and modified it a bit.

Overall it went pretty well. I need to keep it mind to get them to describe the world and their actions instead of doing it myself. Which has an extra layer of difficulty due to it being Motherboard thus wires and old buildings here and there plus no magic it's just tech that appears magical. "The lightning bolt arcs out of an overheard junction box!"

I kept in mind to not always use Fear to attack Which kind of worked because I was hurting for Fear here and there but it worked well!

The players seem to love it so far. Our youngest player def leaning into the narrative aspect of it. "The forest is purple!" thus The Purple Forest near town was born.

We finally had our Session 0 for my ongoing Edwardian Magitech Superhero campaign Arcanopolis Knights (which had its first iteration as a convention campaign last fall). We got to onboard a new player, get characters figured out, build connections and otherwise do Session 0 stuff. This game is monthly, so I have plenty of time to build a few villains and situations and then just let the heroes loose on their city.
