This one has potential, although it lacks a mouth, and it's holding its sword by the blade, which is a bit weird. Its shield also appears pasted onto its arm. I suppose that could be some kind of warforged modification.

In my endeavors to create a warforged character, I am frequently getting ones with skull-like faces and ones with 'root beards'. Here are some examples:



This is my current prompt: A mid-length color painting of a tall bald medieval fantasy robot. Its body consists of shiny smooth heavy armor plating with root-like corded muscles underneath. It has a wide hinged jaw and toothless mouth, and its eyes are made of turquoise crystal. A rune is etched into its forehead plating. It wears a dark green cloak with a circular wooden brooch. It wields a sword and shield as it strides through a forested medieval village. Drawn as screen printing sketch on paper.

I kind of love this effect?

I'm not so keen on the skull face, although I can envision some warforged wanting to make their faces look more like skulls to be more intimidating in battle or whatever. That's just not something I want for this specific warforged.

As for the root beards, yeah, those are pretty cool ... as are the root dreads.
