Richardson Civic Center (max 30 people) for the full day (8a-12a): $250
But they're unavailable June 30.

A lot of places I'm seeing are much cheaper on weekdays.

That price is not too shabby.

I still need to call back the lady at the Bedford Boy's Ranch about renting details. Also, friend told me about the "Old Bedford School" which is used to rent out space for groups now days. He said it might be pricey though. I'll see if I can find out more on that too.

By the way, if we do end up needing some extra tables, I have at least two. However, they are those 6 ft. rectangular fold out tables. One is white plastic and the other is wood. They could probably seat 6 each.

For the record, I might be bringing a buddy or 3...so I'd say 15-20 people minimum.

For the record, the most votes any one day got was 8. So, in theory, with three more buddies that makes 11. A room for 10-15 still might be good enough, especially since I'm going to guess not 100% of the people are going to stay for the entire time.

800 square foot room (approx 45 people) for 10 hours: $634

North Richland Hills Center Facility
800 square foot room (approx 45 people) for 10 hours: $256

Southlake: Nothing found on web site

Grapevine:
Bessie Mitchell House (parking up to 35 vehicles) for 9 hours: $450
Merlot Community House (unknown size) for 9 hours: $225
Residency required for rental

I browsed through looking for the best deals we have so far. The North Richland Hills Center Facility look promising price-wise...a whole day for $256 plus plenty of space. Anyone found any better deals?

Somehow, our game-day runoff thread ended up all Fridays. I'm not sure what happened there. A few have already commented on this.

If it helps anything, our NC Gamedays are usually about 11 hours long, with two 5-hour sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening. So given that you have at least one or two attendees coming from outside of DFW, (der Kluge and another person I thought earlier in the thread), that "travel day" is a safe bet.
