Jemal : sorry if it wasn't clear. Your character doesn't realize this vision isn't real. He is put before a choice, and he's supposed to react to it. Could you edit your post?

Cheers, DrZ

Hi guys,

Am I the only one who's feeling that things are dragging a bit? I realize this campaign isn't for everyone, so if some of you rather not continue I'd rather have you tell me so I can open recruitment again. No hard feelings.

If there's things you don't like but you'd still like to keep on playing, let me know so we can discuss things.

If you don't respond within a week I'll start to write your character out of the story.

Cheers,

DrZ

Doesn't feel overly draggy to me...though I suppose it does seem like not everyone's posting after every update. That can happen though.

Especially at these "Okay, now what do we do?" junctures. :)

We've got general instructions (pretend like the inquisitors are dead), but I suspect we, the players, aren't sure how to translate those instructions into specific actions. Do we stagger off the train and call for help? Do the inquisitors need to be knocked out? What do we do with them?

No one's sure exactly what to do, and no one wants to just guess, and so a kind of stasis-lock starts to set in. I've seen it happen a hundred times in PBP's. :)

I know for my sake, my online time rapidly decreased with my new job. I only am online regularly in the evenings, and maybe my lunch.

Speed wise is same as normal for PbP. I think unfamiliarity with the setting hurts some of us, but otherwise it seems ok.

Maybe it's just me :). What I was waiting for was everyone reaction to the 'visions', then start the next chapter by giving you a clear mission order. But I've already started the mision-giving scene with Kestrell, Rat and Zhent, being used to the pace of the combat sequence. If you lot are happy with this pace, then it's fine with me.

BTW, the best way to get to know the world is to read the black library books. THIS is a link to fan-fiction of highly fluctuating quality, but it's a lot of short stories of how other people look at the setting, some of 'em quite nice. Allways good if you have five minutes with nothing much better to do.

i put my post up, but i dont know how to hide sectons of the post so you can only read them by clcking on the buttin. so i ask you all, how do i do that? (just wondering so that you all dont see my vision, and how my charicter sees his servatude.)

Joker, one little thing about your post. Kestrel is pretty clearly an assassin. Maybe even a bit overly clearly. Something about a black bodyglove just kind of waves its hands around and screams, "Assassin! Hey look! Assassin!"

May need to buy her some less obtrusive clothes for when she's not skulking. :)
