D&D 5E Dark sun Times of change

Eevuu Farseeker joins the rest to seek shelter from the sun. He keeps an eye on the other group of hunters, just in case. One can not be too trusting in the desert...

Tarsin keeps pretty quiet in the cart. He is pleased to avoid the uncomfortable heat of the desert day. He turns his attention to the thri-kreen hunters, attempting (without rudely staring) to distinguish them and determine hierarchy or roles, who might be in charge, etc.
(Charisma check if necessary to be polite while observing: Charisma: 1D20+4 = [18]+4 = 22
)

OOC: We can generally understand Chick. Is the same true of these thri-kreen?

No chick has spent time with humans these are "wild" for lack of a better term. Non of the hunters seem to be above the others all though one doe's appear to be older than the other two.

Chick will make small talk with them when everyone gets settled. Eventually he will work his way up to asking about them about the area and see if they have any information that would be useful or interesting.

OOC: I'd role-play it more, but I have no idea what to ask about. Here's a Charisma roll if it helps! [roll0]

The ammount of information exchanged without words is amazing. The thri-kreen comment on the aftershocks that keep leveling their camps and ask where the rest of Chuck's clutch is and if his masters treat him well. When asked about the area they warn a Druid predicted a sandstorm would arrive soon.

Chtckh'Chtckh tells them how he doesn't know what befell his birth-clutch, but that he was taken a long time ago. He tells them that his masters treated him fair-to-poorly but that they were very reasonable when he earned his freedom. He asks for more information regarding aftershocks and thanks them for the warning of the sandstorm. Do they know more precisely when it is expected? Clack-clack.

OOC: The after shocks are a result from Kalaks death. The earthquake that opened up the cave you are about to explore are still aftershocking(that even a word?) In the city they are hardly felt. Oh is Chick relaying the information to the group they ain't got a clue what's going on.

The Kreen Keep on with their subtle movements and clacks. You haven't felt the earth shake? It flattens our tents and causes panic among the younglings. The Druid cannot predict the exact time but it will be either today or tomorrow she is never wrong.

Being extremely patient himself, Chick won't think to tell anyone what he's learned until after he and the Kreen have spoken for quite some time. Then he will rejoin the party, get some food, and when someone either looks expectant, frustrated, or asks, he will tell them everything.
