Eevuu Farseeker nods his thanks and approaches the pool slowly. He will drink a little and add a bit to his canteen. He then returns too his pack and the shade to pulls out some dried rations out. He eats in silence simply enjoying the cool air of the oasis.

Desert
Night

Kimet dropped the traces and rolled her shoulders as they reached the oasis. As she waited for the halfling to return with permission, she took some languid swings with her heavy mace to work the tension out of her arms. When they finally had permission, she gratefully grabbed a couple of the empty waterskins from the cart to refill. No fire meant rations and no hunting.

Taking the opportunity, Kimet splashed a bit of water over her face and arms, cleaning a bit of the desert dust from her body. She wouldn’t mind a cool, refreshing dip, but didn’t want to anger the oasis keeper, so she returned to the others.

“We should set watch,” Kimet suggested. It would be day soon, and unlikely anyone would be about in the heat, but it was a good precaution.

GM: Are you guys wanting to rest here until the sun descends Aka a long rest? And then simply drag the cart again? Currently 2days away from your destination by my count.

OOC: Yes lets wait out the hottest part of the day and then pull the cart into the night if we can or whatever is best for traveling in the desert. For while Eevuu Farseeker is an expert at this stuff, Karl has no clue what is the best way to travel in the desert or Dark Sun deserts :D

The party awake just as the last of the red sun is vanishing behind the horizon, the sleep in the oasis was a pleasant one mostly due to the cooling breeze circulating around the oasis.

Grazing on some low leaves is perhaps the expidtions saviour an adult Inix.
