Kimet hauls the cart until the sun starts to rise upon the horizon something is moving rapidly towards the group. It appears to be mostly submerged under the sand with just a hard fragment of shell and a fin showing. Leaving the cart you may be able to avoid it, unless ofcourse it is stalking you.

GM: Those proficient in nature may make a roll to try and asses what is heading towards them. It'll be difficult figuring it out from the little you can see thus requiring Prof.

Wait wait wait, I've read a story about those crawling things.

OOC: Nature : 1D20+5 = [6]+5 = 11 Akylanthes is ready to cast Faerie fire as soon as he has a target.

If I remember well, they are very dangerous creatures.
Too bad I can't remember if you must freeze so they cant hear you or sprint, though...

Eevuu Farseeker looks upon the approaching sand creature with great appearation, wrapping his brain about what it might be. He also looks to see if there are any rocks about. The thing moves through the sand with ease but maybe it had trouble with rock?

Kanna perks up at the distant sight of sand pluming up. She scrambles up onto the cart, onto the crates, and perches precariously, perspicaciously percepting the peril.

Kimet pulled the thin gauze over her eyes to shield them from the rising sun, but she pauses as the sees the sand ahead shifting, some kind of thick hide and fin.

“Trouble,” Kimet murmured, shrugging out of the traces and reaching back into the cart for her maul. “Anyone able to tell what it is?” She readied herself.

Tarsin really doesn't care what it is, and is sick of fiddling around in this damn desert. Unless the thing looks really huge and deadly (nature/wisdom check?) or somebody says something to make him change his mind, he's going to Eldritch Blast the thing as soon as it's in range (120 feet).

Wisdom: 1D20 = [1] = 1

Well, whatever it is, looks like we can take it!

Spell Attack: 1D20+6 = [15]+6 = 21

Eldritch Blast Damage: 1D10 = [4] = 4

Eevuu can see no rocks or much of anything around her. Kanna figures this creature is either a Bulette which would be bad very bad or it could be an Etteulb which would still be bad but not so bad. Buletts are hunters that rely on a powerful leaping attack to defeat its prey. Etteulbs on the other hand are scavengers that rely on the fact they look identical to Bulettes when submerged to scare off prey and loot caravans.
