D&D 5E Dark sun Times of change

Chick lights a torch and holds it in one of his lower hands while he clicks and gestures with his upper hands. He indicates confusion. He thought we were going to make a deal with these templars for food, not murder them as they fled the native threat of these caverns. He supposes we could eat them if that's what you all are thinking. He shrugs.

By the light off Chick's torch, Tarsin searches the bodies of the Templars, looking for clues to their mission (in case it was different from ours or they had more information ahead of time), any evidence that they found anything, and anything of value they have on them, in that order of priority.

Investigation : 1D20+3 = [2]+3 = 5

OOC: Arrgh I can't roll to save my life!

Tarsin feels nothing for these Templars. The kinship that Kimet imputes to him is real, but it is enormously outweighed by his devotion to his mission and his optimism that the secrets contained in this place can help him on his quest to restore his patron.

GM: They do indeed carry on that way I just didn't want to assume and throw you into combat. I'll give it a bit longer before moving on see if anyone has any ideas.

GM: Sorry I thought you had resigned your self to the failure of a 5.

Tarsin doesn't find much on the templars other than their weapons, longswords made of obsidian. Their armour must be magically attached as there are no clasps or seems. The skeletons are stood stationary or there spot they gave no attempt to chase the templars.

“Well, that’s the direction we want to go,” Kimet said. “The skeletons don’t seem to be moving. Should we see if they just stand there and let us destroy them?” She pulled a hand axe from her belt and threw it at one of the skeletons.

“Ah, bloody :):):):). Now I have to retrieve that,” Kimet growled. “One of you with the light, come with me.” She strode forward to find her axe, keeping her maul ready for trouble in case the skeletons showed more backbone.
