She opens the ancient covers and turns a few pages, looking for pictures. There aren't very many though. Even so, she puts it in her pouch. A reminder perhaps of this strange place, and warning of how old knowledge could be dangerous. Or it could make good kindling later to start a fire. There was a symmetry to the idea of old ideas being made useful now that Kanna rather liked.
The halfling then scanned the rest of the books on the shelf, just the edges of them facing outward, to see if any of them had symbols she knew before leaving this room to the dust and the ravages of time.
