The torch lights up much of the tunnel. Rats scurry away and find safe homes. Looking about, water has been running at a low amount. The sewer was designed to be several feet deep instead of several inches. Lichen and moss and a few slimes can be seen. An occational pipe leading towards the surface can be seen. Once a means to dump refuge into the sewer. Now rats use it to gain access to the surface.

He washes his spear off in the sludge a bit more, being careful to remove all the acid that might remain. "Oh, by the by. I ran into a shape-shifting rat man who was watching us. Some sort of cult, revolving around the sewers. He killed himself with acid before I could find out more. Could be a few more down here." He then busies himself with his pack, trying not to notice where he is.
