OOC: Having no idea what the best direction is what way would that be?

check of 19...you decide to go with the current (trikkle) of water.

No one can see much past Andus as he moves along. His darkvision is slightly blurred as some torch light gets past him. Many more rats seem to travel to you then retreat.

Tallask glares at the tunnel as though it has personally affronted him. He looks at his longspear, and snarls, moving it to his offhand and pulling out a dagger. He is clearly less than thrilled to be here.

Odten pulls a disgusted face as his feet come into contact with the sewer water. He follows closely after Tallask, loading his crossbow as he walks.

SEGMENT 124

Slowly, everyone works their way with the water current (what there is of it) suggesting a downward movement.

You come to a large open area about 25x25 feet and 10 feet high. Andus stops to stretch his back which has been hunched going through the tight tunnel. A ruined ladder is set going up along one wall. Socrates looks about it and determines it is site 6 on the map he has been given. In theory, if a person climbed that ladder to the surface, they would be in a northern section of the garden near the palace / templar grounds.

The tunnel splits in two directions. North which is marked as having wards placed and south. South runs to four.

So....which way?

Also, what is the rough walking order so I can better describ events as they unfold.

"Might I suggest" Socrates suggests, "We head south. I would like to avoid anything that has wards on it. If we head south we can then head west to Branch 2 where we know there has been trouble lately."

"I don't mind, your the boss on that! I will lead the way. Andus, you should close the way. Is that fine with you or you feel too squeeze for that?"

Tallask holds up a hand (which shakes slightly). "Hold. Why would you want to avoid that? We are here seeking information, are we not? Wouldn't it stand to reason that the most important and valuable information is behind the locked door, so to speak?"

The half-giant shrugs.

"Me OK with dat."

Andus moves to each of the two exits, away from the light and peers down them.
