Database clean up on usernames

LOL! It was a completely random list. Not a copy of my list of problem customers.

We may eventually purge usernames based on whether or not they've been used in the last [insert period of time of your choice], but that's not available yet. When/if that comes, it would take care of the names that people can't even remember having.

Lists of characters you want deleted should go to ISRPmagi@gmail.com, but include the password so we know it's really yours.

And I'm sure Gabe will have his own choice of time period.

More seriously, I have a few characters that I hardly use but I'm suffering Babylon's predicament. I really shoulda kept a list somewhere.

I have a list. But it's got everyone. It's got my infor for Wizards on it still. And since I was stupid enough to use the same info from wiz on some of my earlier transfers . . . Yeah, that was completely stupid.

Three months would be too short. Six maybe.

Only because I have been away for three to four months at a time, and that's because I have a lot of pressing real-life demands and I'm sure a lot of other people who come here can't spend all their time fawning over a keyboard and having no life beyond the PC screen. Not to infer that anyone does, but I just seem to have less and less time and I'm sure more and more people are becoming that way.

Six years ago, we all spent a huge amount of time on Wiz. These days, we're older and busier, so it's only natural!

I remember the days when I was at Uni and could spend every DAY in Wiz/ISRP... sigh...

one problem with the if they haven't logged in in so long would be our friends who are taking a break or say they are in the Military and are deployed... that would be rude to them to come back and find their characters missing

Exactly, another very good point. I know several people who have military commitments and even if it's not them but their spouse or partner, they could conceivably be away for a period of time.

Heh, i did make the 'blacklist', aww i feels loved alots. anywho, i sent ya guys my list a bit ago and i im glad to help get rid of unused character names. hecek, i know i got atleast two i dont remember passwords for and one i dont remember how i spelled her name. lol. anyways, if i remember ill be sure to send it to ya all.

Oh, one last idea. Perhaps acutally going through at a set day and deleting EVERY character name would help. Granted everyone has to regestered but it will clean everything up and will help everyone involved. Everyone can save there dessys and just remake all the characters. just an idea
