Definitive Character Sheet

First Post
Assuming this has been hashed over, but looking for a good 4e character sheet meeting the following charcteristics ideally:

1: Can be saved
2: Can be printed
3: Can be exported to the web (to a PDF file is sufficient and probably preferred, but I'm open to suggestions)

I don't need autofilling.

I've tried a few, but havent one that fits all 3 criterion to any great degree. I appreciate the suggestions (assuming they arent of the go-do-something-of-the-anatomically-impossible variety) Thanks!

Hands Down,

The sheets at Ema's Sheets. I don't have the actual web address handy as I'm not at home. But if you Google Ema's Sheets it'll come up at the top. If you pay for the character manager (a one time payment for lifetime usage) you also get a form fillable sheet that stores online and can be spit out as a PDF. Also your powers can be turned into cards that you can print out as well.

I can't say enough good things about Ema's.

JoS.

The best sheet is...

Google Docs. Or Microsoft Word. Or OpenOffice.org Write.

Any word processor, basically.

No fancy formatting. Just start typing.

Blah: +X = +Y (Some modifier) + Z (Some other modifier)

It's perfect because you can keep track of everything you need to keep track of and not get bogged down by all the other crap. No more "What's this +2 under 'misc' from?" or "I don't have enough room for all my feats."

I started doing this a few years ago in 3.5, and it works equally well in 4e. I'll never go back to character sheets. NEVER!

Depends on what you're using them for.

One of my buddies back in the 2nd ed AD&D days used to do all his material on Word Perfect.

Me? I use either standard paper or a PDF print out.

I totally like that for some games (i.e. Shadowrun, where it's impossible to make a decent character sheet that works for all characters even of a single archetype and still fits on one double-sided sheet of paper, which is a requirement for me).

But for D&D it's not really necessary; especially not for 4th edition.

Hands Down,

The sheets at Ema's Sheets.

Ema's sheets are quite awesome. They annoy me just a little though because all the powers are listed as "[W]" and there's no way to fill in actual damage dice of your primary weapon without using the power editor to retype in the whole power (defeating the point of the auto-generator). Also, your Base Attacks (1) listed as "Base Attack", not "Longsword", (2) have the wrong attack bonus if you have any Feats or the Fighter Class Features, (3) can't be repeated for different weapons.

I'd say Ema's Sheets were 95% there, but the final results need to be editable. His aren't.

I use MS Word.
