Would I be doubling up on party role if I played a Cleric? Specifically of Kelemvor, carrying a bit of a personal grudge against Cyric given Kelemvor and Cyric's history and still going the Army of Darkness route.

Keeping a misterious air around him, it is difficult to know what Molak is thinking, nor how will he react. He speaks and acts like a maddman, but has sudden attacks of sanity and mental clearness. Molak was never too powerful, nor too important or too rich. He was at best, a mediocre adventurer. His most notable achivement was to have sneaked with his comrades into the library of a not so powerful lich, and stole many books and scrolls. Molak still holds some of those. But at the dawn of his life, when he was an elder man, having luckly survived most of the adventurer's life threatening situations, a group of fresh blooded mages seeked him in a small isolated cottage, far in the Mist mountains where the old man lived alone. They were searching for the secrets kept by the warlock, as they knew that it contianed the secret ritual to create a portal to Sigil, a land of opportunity, at least in their minds.
Seeing his days were ending, and being the erratic man he was, Molak accepted the offering, and lend his croll to the mage, if they allowed him to go to Sigil.
The mages agreed, and soon began the preparatives, gathering the materials and drawing the circles in the floor of the cottage.
As the recited the ritual, Molak felt something odd. Chaos, he could sense it, after all it flowed in his veins. He decided to wait and see, what could he lose?
A portal spawned in the center of the circle, a portal to Limbo! It sucked everyone in the cottage inside, and in a flash, it was gone. The cottage, the mages and the old man.
The victims of the trap, found themselves floating before the Spawning Stone. The mages were amazed, and Molak terrified, he knew exactly were he was. The wizards' amazement turned into horror, as from behind the ston, a colossal golden amoeba appeared, crawling over the spawning Stone. Behind it, hundreds of slaadi floated towards the mages and Molak.
The mages tried to attack the creatures, but to no avail, they were slain by the chaotic beasts.
Molak was now alone, in front of the Salld lord Ssendam. Thinking quickly, he offered his soul and his servitude in exchange for a second chance to live and spread chaos in the mortal realm, he said that it was his purpose there, and the mages were an offering to the slaadi lord. Ssendam had never heard that. Sensins the old man was almost dead, partially insane, but was somehow touched by chaos, it decided to bestow upon him some power. It would be entertained to have an agent in the mortal realms besides the slaad, who were mostly either eating or maiting. A new toy...
Molak was granted yought, and power, raw caotic power beyond his imagination. He was then returned to the mortalrealm, and left free to wonder and spread chaos across the land.

You've either got 4 rings...only 2 of which you can wear at once...or you have 2 rings with combined effects, in which case you need to spend more money on the surcharges associated with combined effects into single items. +50% to the secondary, and each subsequent, power in the item.
