Well, I would welcome any fine-tuning adjustment material on how to use DG with d20 Modern.EditorBFG said:Well, CoC d20 is not a big leap from d20 Modern-- in fact, John Tynes is one of the people credited in the copyright for the Modern SRD because CoC d20 was one of the sources on which modern was based.
If you have d20 Modern and Unearthed Arcana for insanity rules (or Alea Publishing Group's product reprinting those OGC madness rules), you'll be fine. The only other thing you could possibly need is some extra tentacled/squamous/cyclopean horrors-- and there might be some of those in some pre-existing d20 monster books. Like, say, the Monster Manual.![]()
Well, obviously I don't have DG d20 yet, but from Call of Cthulhu, the main things that could throw you are the spells, NPCs and monsters.Ranger REG said:Well, I would welcome any fine-tuning adjustment material on how to use DG with d20 Modern.

Garnfellow said:But I thought that old one was long out of print. These look to be new, not used copies
Stormborn said:Yes, its long out of print, and yes Amazon will tell you they can get it in 4-6 weeks and charge you extra money for it. And then in about 2 months they will send you an e-mail that says its no longer availble.
EditorBFG said:Call of Cthulhu d20 uses a completely different set of spells, but an enterprising GM ought to be able to just replace the CoC spells with regular d20 spells based on the CR of the creature (obviously, you don't give the CR: 5 monster limited wish, etc.) and the name of the spell (Summon (insert favorite Lovecraftian thing here) could be replaced with an appropriate level summon monster spell, Fist of Yog-Sothoth could be an appropriate Bigby spell, etc.).
<sniff, sniff> Is that the smell of the book form of vaporware? I believe it likely is.jaerdaph said:And again still waiting on November 18th...![]()
Not that I'm surprised.
Anyone hear anything new? Is this still "relatively" still on schedule or has the release date changed again? I couldn't find anything on Pagan's web site.
If you can't tell, I've been looking forward to this for a long time now.![]()
