D&D 4E Destiny's Tears OOC Thread 4E

Why not rename it into Homebrew? Then more DM's can make use of the category. :)

Some players are actually looking for homebrew games, taken from comments posted in some threads here, so that would be pretty helpful, I think.

Apparently I was incorrect with M&M.

Well, it's there now, we'll see how much it's used outside of Rystil's game.

Homebrew would be a good idea, though that's vague enough, is any setting not in an established world homebrew? Or is onely one that's been drawn out to a large extent? I guess it's better than D&D or D20.

For what it's worth, I agree that I don't have enough popularity to deserve my own category, but I still think it's cool that I have one now. I remember when I selected general, I was somewhat upset that I had to pick such a humdrum undescriptive category and there was no Homebrew or something. The cool thing is that we will be able to sort out my games instantly by sorting for the Spelljamming category now :)

I would rather see homebrew used for worlds like Low'verokor Keldev and not bastardized version of Faerûn.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm a huge fan and truth be told I'm pretty sure M&M had a category before D&D did. ;)

Truth be told if RA used it for each one of his Spelljamming threads it will already see more play than some of the categories have... I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a Hero System thread the other day. :)

I don't follow how only one DM/GM can use the spelljamming catagory...

Well, let's put it this way... the expected number of DM's who are going to use it will quite likely have a very high correlation with '1'. :p

Anyways, at least use the correct setting name, which is 'Spelljammer' for the original or 'Neo-Spelljamming' (shouldn't that be 'Neo-Spelljammer' ? ;)) for Rystil's not 'Spelljamming' in any case. :D

As for homebrew that's a pretty good idea so I'll go and make it now. :)

I'm sure that will see some use. :)

I agree, but not everyone will see it like that. Was just letting my thoughts wander....

Uhoh, better round them up, they're all escaping

LOL, that's certainly true.

Yep, I noticed that, too. :)

We've been trying to get BS, Unleashed, or Kaia to run some of Rystil's things, but will no success.
