Ok. I know about the time issue, but it takes like 6 months to level in Living PbP judging from the lurking I've done, so when it's available is about when i'll be levelling, and if the warblade preview is any indication, the ToB classes let you get fighter-exclusive stuff, but later than a fighter does. Mmm, weapon supreamacy chain + bladebearer of the valenar + tempest. He favored souls get weapon spec free and they aren't even primary combatants. Hey, how about a silver flame favored soul, wings plus freebie longbow boosts, it's the cleric archer reborn. Now how to get a ansestral blade-type thing for flamer bows? (rhetorical question)

I have 4 characters, the oldest one being just over a year old in LEW, and they are levels 3 (soon to be higher), 3, and 4. It happens much faster in living games than you may think, particularly with the added time XP.

Mr. Bront is correct. Even if your character just jumps up and down and flings feces at passersby, as long as he is on an adventure, he is guaranteed to make at least 30% of a level in 6 months (up to level 8, where you start getting diminishing returns).

Well, you have to participate to some extent ;)
Right, you can't go missing. But you probably *could* get the XP for doing very little if the GM was spotty (say the GM posted once a week with small updates).

That's actualy part of the point.

Quick moving adventures, you won't notice it much. Slower moving adventures, well, at least you're getting something.

Oh, absolutely! I was just pointing it out, that this was the minimum. For the maximum speed, I have to nominate Krug the dwarf from Immortality Awakens. He leveled up to level two I think two or three days after being approved

Wow... but Rinaldo is raising inlevel at an average speed of 1 per 6 month... I think he has been created in august, so he should be level 7 by the end of the month.

Well, Krug also never leveled up again for months and months and left LEW. The reason he leveled up to two was actually a classic case of what they call 'powerleveling' in MMOs. He was traveling in a two-person group with a fourth-level character. Since I have to award at least the monster XP for monsters they defeat, when they encountered a band of orcs and killed them all, that leveled him up immediately

That said, 4-6 months seems about the average for a level. Juliana is just fast. I had a character in Jules's first adventure too, and he's far behind her.

My LEW elf: Started 6/04, played continuously, still 3rd (will be 4th if he survives his current fight).
My LEW elan: Started 4/05, played continuously, recently made 4th.
