I'd propose it myself, but with Ferrix gone, it would require literally 100% of the other judges to vote to get anything I proposed approvedPatlin said:OK, I'll post some PHBII stuff tonight or tomorrow, when I have my book available. Thanks for the quick response Rystil!
All you other judges, please consider voting on the active proposals... whether Yes or No!

I admit I did that on purpose to at least one proposal that I didn't like as a pocket veto, but it had plenty of negative comments from me, so it wasn't the one you're thinking ofPatlin said:No problem, I'm happy to do the proposals, as long as people are still interested in seeing them. Finding another judge or two might help, though! Seeing a proposal get two yes votes, zero no votes, no really negative comments, and then just sit there... it's a bit frustrating!![]()

Well, we need at least three judges to vote on anything, and w/ only a few of us actually having the book, it makes it difficult.Patlin said:I figured that might be part of it, but I promise a straigt up no vote won't hurt my feelings, and will clarify greatly where things stand on a given proposal.
I have a strict policy--I vote NO on any proposal that will actually make the game worse and less fun to play by virtue of destroying balance. This is for things like Wraithstrike, Orb spells without SR, etc. Things that I would leave a Living World and retire all my characters if they ever passed there. For anything less, something I personally think is a bad idea or unbalanced but I don't think will destroy the game, I will give arguments against it and let the others vote for it, rather than be biased by my personal feelings. Since there are only four judges, a NO vote from me is basically a death sentence, so I want proposals to get a fair chance unless they cross the line.Patlin said:I figured that might be part of it, but I promise a straight up no vote won't hurt my feelings, and will clarify greatly where things stand on a given proposal.
Except you can't vote on your own proposals. So, w/ four judges, that means all three non-Rystil judges would have to vote yes.Patlin said:Makes sense, although to my recollection a 3 to 1 vote has passed, so no death sentence. Might be wrong about that though. I understand your position now, though.
Once a particular item is brought up for vote,YES votes need to exceed NO votes by at least 2 to pass, with a minimum of 3 YES votes. If NO votes exceed YES votes by at least 2, with a minimum of 3 NO votes, the matter is closed. Voting will remain open until either of these conditions has been met for a continuous period of 48 hours, at which point the decision becomes official.
