I concur.

They would apply in LEB, but the consensus seems to be you cannot create a character w/ them. Can't speak for LEW.Velmont said:Does that mean the age bonus/penalty do not apply in LEW? I ask because what happen if a character age (I've been adding one year every RL year to Rinaldo, but he has also been affected by time flux that have grown him younger, but it could have grown him older.). Mainly out of curiosity.
I would probably apply it if it actually happens organically, although if I do agree to that, then that means I won't agree to someone making a character one year under the next age category and then quickly raising it. Rinaldo may not have to worry as soon thanks to the Crux though.Velmont said:Does that mean the age bonus/penalty do not apply in LEW? I whole heartedly agree, that is essential what i said or well tried to sayWik said:Not a big fan of allowing 'em. They really help out wizards and whatnot, and I don't like how that plays out. I'd say no, unless there were some way we could balance it out.
That being said, I think if you want to play an "older" character, why not just make him old, without ever actually saying his age? Make him 20 years old mechanically, but play him out as in his 50s? I really don't see too much of a problem with that.
