WOIN Dice pool calculation order

Hi,

I have a question about forming the dice pool. Assume a grave 5 character with a total of 6d6. Normally he’d lose a d6 and only roll 5 dice. When I’m the calculating of the pool would a complication be added? After he drops the 1 die and he rolls 4d6 or before he drops the extra die and he still rolls 5d6?

Which book are you using? There's a sidebar in each with explains the order. I really should make a sticky thread for this question!

(Short answer: form dice pool from Att + Skill + Equip. Cap it. THEN apply exploits/complications/modifiers/LUC.)

Thanks! I'm currently using all of the books but mostly Dredd. I think I found the side bar on page 125 which mentions Exploits and LUC but didn't mention complications so I wasn't 100% sure. Thanks again for clarifying.
